We practice Elder Law. Our office is located in Riverside, California, near the Riverside County historical courthouse. Our task is to protect, and advocate for, the elderly and their loved ones. Financial abuse and physical neglect are just two of the areas of legal services we provide.
When elder abuse or neglect is clear, we litigate to obtain a just remedy for our clients.
Our discovery strategies include subpoenas, document production, interrogatories, depositions, mental/physical examinations, requests for admissions, and a variety of other informal evidence gathering designed to produce clear and convincing evidence of wrongdoing.
Here's what we do:
Civil litigation of Financial Abuse and Physical Neglect Cases
Under the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act. These cases generally involve financial abuse or nursing home neglect.
We litigate cases against conservators who grossly mismanage their client's estate and neglect their client's health care and personal needs.
Court proceedings needed to transfer assets after death.
Probate court procedure that authorizes a persona to have authority to make personal, medical and financial decisions for an incapacitated person.
Document created to hold title to certain property and avoid the costly and time-consuming requirements of probate upon death.
Gives your "agent" the authority to make financial decisions for you if you become incapacitated.
Advance Health Care Directive
Gives your "agent" the authority to make health care decisions for you if you become incapacitated.
Document that gives instructions on how your property will be distributed upon your death.
Strategies developed to qualify an individual to receive Medi-Cal benefits to pay the high costs of long term care nursing home placement and retain as many assets as possible.
